Jenkins

Michelle Jenkins

has been an elementary school counselor for thirteen years. Her passion for helping others was the driving force that lead her to study counseling at both Old Dominion University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Mrs. Jenkins and her husband have two daughters, Emma and Maddie. They love to spend family time together at the beach, volunteering at their church, and participating in the girls sporting events and extracurricular activities. Mrs. Jenkins “thoroughly” enjoys being a soaring seagull!

Mrs. Wight

Mrs. Wight is super excited to join the Thoroughgood family! This is her 17th year as an elementary school counselor in Virginia Beach. She is a native of Virginia Beach and graduated from Cox High School. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from George Mason University and M.S. in Education in Counseling from ODU. Mrs. Wight and her husband have one daughter and twin sons. She will be at Thoroughgood on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
